Role Overview

As a Career Coach / Career Consultant at LiaHia, you will partner with clients internationally to accelerate their career growth and job-search outcomes. You’ll deliver high-impact coaching sessions, provide actionable guidance, and elevate client positioning through resume and LinkedIn optimization. This role is ideal for an experienced coach/consultant who blends empathy with structure, and strategy with execution.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct 1:1 career coaching sessions (discovery, goal-setting, accountability, and progress tracking)

• Assess client backgrounds and translate experience into clear career narratives and target-role positioning

• Optimize resumes for clarity, impact, and relevance (achievement-driven bullets, role alignment, ATS-aware formatting)

• Optimize LinkedIn profiles (headline, about section, experience, keywords, and overall brand consistency)

• Coach clients on job-search strategy: targeting, networking, outreach messaging, and interview preparation

• Create tailored action plans with measurable milestones and timelines

• Provide thoughtful, timely feedback on client drafts and iterations (resume, LinkedIn, and supporting materials)

• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and client experience across cultures and time zones

What We’re Looking For

• 5–19 years of experience in career coaching, career consulting, recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or related fields

• Demonstrated success delivering career coaching sessions that lead to tangible client outcomes

• Strong expertise in resume writing/optimization and LinkedIn optimization for multiple industries and seniority levels

• Excellent communication skills: able to simplify complex feedback into clear next steps

• Client-first mindset with strong empathy, professionalism, and accountability

• Comfort working with international clients across different cultures, markets, and time zones

• Highly organized: able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and iterative document reviews

Nice to Have

• Experience coaching mid-to-senior professionals, career changers, or leadership candidates

• Familiarity with ATS principles, keyword strategy, and role-specific tailoring

• Interview coaching experience (behavioral, competency-based, and case/role-specific formats)

• Coaching certifications or relevant training (e.g., ICF-aligned programs) or equivalent practical experience

• Clients leave sessions with clarity, confidence, and a concrete plan of action

• Resumes and LinkedIn profiles are sharply positioned, achievement-focused, and aligned to target roles

• Clients demonstrate improved response rates (recruiter outreach, interview invitations) and stronger interview performance

• Consistent, high-quality coaching delivery and excellent client satisfaction across engagements

• Hours vary based on client volume and are not guaranteed.
