About the team

The ShowingTime team is part of the Industry Software organization. The team supports and evolves ShowingTime products, services, infrastructure, and operational processes. We also build new features, enable third-party integrations, and support ShowingTime functionality integrated into the Zillow Workspace platform. Our work helps extend core scheduling and workflow capabilities across a broader industry ecosystem.

About the role

We are looking for a full-stack developer to join the ShowingTime team and help deliver the capabilities defined in our roadmap. In this role, you will partner with engineers and cross-functional teammates to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software that supports our products and platform integrations. You will contribute across the stack, from backend services to user-facing experiences, while helping improve the reliability, scalability, and quality of our systems.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and instead work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live anywhere in Mexico, with availability to travel to Mexico City, as we recommend attendance at occasional office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

An experienced engineer with this profile:

- Must-have skills:

  • Strong experience with .NET / C# (building and maintaining production services)

  • Experience designing and consuming event-driven architectures using Kafka

  • Modern UI framework experience(JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular)

  • Hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, ECS, EC2, IAM, networking basics)

- Nice to have:

  • Experience with Debezium or other CDC (Change Data Capture) tools

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • CI/CD pipeline experience

  • Observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.)

  • Experience working with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB preferred)

  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle or similar RDBMS)

  • Experience building and maintaining containerized applications (Docker + Kubernetes/EKS)
