Stelic is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of dashboard reporting across project delivery and internal business operations. This role will build executive and project-level dashboards, convert raw source data into standardized reporting structures, and help ensure reporting is clear, reliable, and actionable.
This position will support both client-facing dashboards and internal Stelic dashboards used for operations, performance tracking, leadership reporting, and decision-making. The role also requires practical familiarity with AI and large language models to improve reporting workflows, summarization, QA, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve executive-level and project-level dashboards for client-facing and internal use.
• Build dashboard layouts, KPI structures, summary views, and detailed reporting views that support clear decision-making.
• Convert incoming source files into standardized reporting formats suitable for dashboard integration.
• Review data for completeness, consistency, and usability before incorporating it into dashboard outputs.
• Define and apply reporting conventions, field definitions, status structures, and roll-up logic.
• Configure and maintain dashboard outputs using approved reporting logic and standards.
• Refresh dashboards based on updated source files and recurring reporting cycles.
• Perform data quality checks and flag missing, inconsistent, or questionable inputs.
• Coordinate with internal team members and stakeholders to resolve reporting issues and improve dashboard usability.
• Support planned versus actual reporting, KPI summaries, project comparisons, and trend analysis.
• Manage, implement, and monitor internal Stelic dashboards for business operations and leadership reporting.
• Recommend practical improvements to dashboard structure, reporting clarity, workflow efficiency, and repeatability.
• Use AI and LLM tools where appropriate to improve reporting workflows, support summarization, assist QA, and increase efficiency.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, dashboard development, data analytics, project controls analytics, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other Dashboard tools, including HTML-based dashboards.
• Experience cleaning, structuring, and standardizing data from multiple source files.
• Experience building practical dashboards and reporting views for executive and project-level users.
• Experience with KPI development, trend reporting, and summary reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work through incomplete or inconsistent source data.
• Familiarity with Power Query, ETL, Python, or similar tools to reduce manual work and improve repeatability.
• Practical understanding of AI tools and LLM tools for KPI summaries, data integrity checks, auto-generated narratives, and how they can support reporting efficiency and workflow improvement.
• Experience in construction, project controls, procurement, capital projects, or life sciences environments preferred.
• Experience working in Microsoft-based reporting environments, including Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business analytics, engineering, construction management, information systems, data analytics, computer science, or related field preferred.
