You will manage the full sales cycle, from cold calling and pitching to closing deals with hotels. You are responsible for researching prospects, handling objections, and maintaining accurate records in HubSpot.

About Jetstream

Jetstream puts hotels and resorts on Airbnb and VRBO, then runs the whole thing for them: the technology, the distribution, the listing content, and the 24/7 guest support. In the hospitality world, we are called a Channel Manager. We only make money when our partners do. No setup fees, no subscriptions, no upfront costs. The only time money changes hands is when a booking comes in, and we send it to the partner along with payment.

It is a genuinely good product with genuinely happy partners. We manage roughly 50,000 keys across about 200 accounts, including Vail Resorts, IHG, and Margaritaville. Almost all of that growth came from word of mouth and from partners who moved to a new hotel and brought us with them. We have an engineering culture and a product people actually like using.

Nobody has really been out there selling it yet. That is the job.

About the Role

This is the first hire in a brand new sales function, and you report directly to the CEO, who is building it alongside you. Every week we hand you a curated list of hotels. Our team runs cold email and LinkedIn in the background to warm the ground. You take the list, get the revenue manager or GM on the phone, and you own it from there: the pitch, the discovery, the follow-up, the close, and a clean handoff to onboarding. Then you do it again with next week's list.

You own the full cycle. This is not a role where you book meetings for someone else to close. You close.

A few honest things about it. It is phone-first, and most people in this space have quietly stopped picking up the phone, which is exactly why it works. It is a grind: you will hear no far more often than yes, and the reps who win are the ones who call back. And you are selling early, before there is a polished playbook, so you will help write it.

What You'll Do

  • Cold call a weekly list of target hotels and get past the gatekeeper to the revenue manager or GM
  • Research each property first so your pitch lands as informed, not generic
  • Pitch Jetstream's distribution model, qualify real interest, and handle the objections yourself
  • Run the full sales cycle, from first dial to signed partner
  • Follow up relentlessly; one unanswered call is a reason to call again, not a dead end
  • Track every call, contact, and outcome in HubSpot
  • Use AI tools, Claude included, to research faster and sharpen every call
  • Refine your own approach week over week and feed what works back into the playbook

What We're Looking For

First and most important: we are hiring for hyper-competitiveness. We want people who need to win at everything they do, in and out of work, not just when a commission is on the line. If coming second genuinely bothers you, you will fit right in here.

Beyond that, we would rather hire someone hungry and coachable than someone with a long resume and fixed habits. The CEO trains you personally, so drive, curiosity, and how fast you improve matter more than anything on paper.

  • A track record of getting people on the phone and moving them to a decision, on outbound, not just email and LinkedIn
  • Resourceful with AI tools and genuinely curious about using them to sell better, not resistant to them
  • You bring the strategy. We give you the list and the goal; you figure out how to work it
  • Comfortable selling before everything is figured out
  • Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or SaaS is a plus, not a requirement
  • Sales experience helps, but hustle and results matter more than years in the seat
  • A cover letter that reads like a pitch, because that is exactly what it is

Have less time in the seat but the drive to make up for it? Make that case in your cover letter. We are listening.

What Sets You Apart

  • You are genuinely energized by cold outreach
  • You are competitive to a fault
  • You are never deterred
  • You are charismatic and quick to build rapport
  • You are self-sufficient and self-driven
  • You get creative under pressure

Why Join

  • You are selling a product that works, to a market that mostly has not heard the pitch yet
  • Uncapped commission on every deal you close, paid fast, within about a month of the deal being closed
  • A direct line to the CEO, who is mentoring you and building this function with you
  • Ground-floor ownership of a new sales motion, with real room to shape the role as it grows
  • A small, fast, genuinely fun team, with offices in Europe and teammates around the world. Not a big corporate machine
  • Hospitality is a fun industry to sell into, and we are a fun company to sell for
  • Generous extended health benefits and vacation

Compensation and Schedule

$60,000 CAD base, plus uncapped commission on every deal you close. On-target earnings of $120,000 CAD in year one, with no ceiling above that. We pay commission fast, within roughly four weeks of a deal being closed.

Full-time, Monday to Friday. Fully remote, but you must be based in British Columbia or Alberta. We keep this role within an hour of our PST time zone so you and the CEO stay in sync.

How to Apply

Send your resume and a cover letter. Treat the cover letter as your first sales call: you are pitching us on why we should hire you. Tell us about your outbound experience and how you would work a cold list of hotels on day one. Only applications with a cover letter will be considered.

How We Use AI in Our Hiring

Integrity guides how we do business, including how we hire. Here is where AI fits.

  • AI notetaking: we use an AI meeting assistant during interviews to record, transcribe, and summarize, so your interviewer can stay present with you instead of splitting attention with a notepad.
  • Team alignment: those summaries make sure your qualifications reach everyone involved in the decision.
  • Humans make the call: AI may surface data points, but it does not decide. Real people assess your fit, and the final call always rests with the hiring team.
