Position Summary

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within the Datacom and Telecom vertical. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.


The ideal candidate brings industry knowledge, business development expertise, and the ability to grow market presence through customer relationships, manufacturers’ representatives, and strategic sales initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth within the Datacom and Telecom markets through strategic prospecting and relationship development. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments. 
  • Manage and support manufacturers’ representatives and sales agencies remotely and in the field. 
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. 
  • Translate customer needs and Voice of the Customer feedback into actionable business opportunities. 
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and competitive activity. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and customer success. 
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. 
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, growth initiatives, and business development performance. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 
  •  5+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or account growth.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and grow strategic accounts. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
