As a Business Development Manager at Aspire, you will play a critical role in developing and
maintaining long-term client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring
customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on managing existing accounts,
identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our
sales pipeline. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to
ensure the successful delivery of solutions, while providing strategic advice
and support clients in their digital transformation journeys.
What You’ll Do
- Manage key
client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty,
and retention. Build and nurture strong relationships with senior
decision-makers, C-level executives, and stakeholders.
- Drive sales
growth through lead generation, prospecting, and managing the full sales
cycle from initial contact to closing.
- Collaborate
with internal teams to develop sales plans aligned with client needs and
company goals. Track sales performance, provide regular updates, and
adjust strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
- Work closely
with the operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of
projects, from pre-sales to post-delivery. Ensure that client expectations
are met and exceeded throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.
- Stay updated
on key industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor
activities. Leverage insights to inform strategy and maintain a
competitive edge in the market.
- Proactively
identify opportunities to offer additional services and solutions to
existing clients. Drive the sale of new services or upgrades that align
with client growth strategies.
- Regularly
update and maintain accurate sales forecasts, track progress against KPIs,
and provide reports to senior leadership on account status and growth
projections.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business Management,
or a related field.
- 8+ Years in
client-facing roles within the IT sector, including business development
and account management in IT consulting and IT implementation businesses.
- 5+ Years in
successful account management experience, especially with clients in the
Middle East, in industries such as Banking & Financial Services,
Insurance, Retail, eCommerce, and Digital Government.
- Strong
understanding of the IT services market in the Middle East & GCC, with
experience in digital transformation, cloud computing, automation, and
data technologies.
- Expertise in
managing large, complex accounts and sales cycles, with the ability to
build relationships at the C-level and across senior leadership.
- Established
relationships and a strong network in at least 2-3 countries in the Middle
East (e.g., UAE, KSA, Jordan).
- Familiarity
with integrated, professional services engagements, including scope-based
project engagements and team augmentation.
- Strong
presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to manage client
expectations and deliver persuasive value propositions.
- A
self-motivated individual who takes personal ownership of client
relationships and contributes to the overall success of the business.
- Experience
working with clients in the Banking & Financial Services, Insurance,
Retail, eCommerce, and Digital Government sectors is a plus.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as
defined by ISO / SOC or similar
