Position Summary

The Business Development Advisor is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients for BlueprintIQ. This role focuses heavily on outbound prospecting, lead generation, market outreach, and early-stage relationship development.

This position is ideal for a motivated, disciplined, and growth-minded professional who enjoys connecting with business owners, executives, and organizational leaders. The Business Development Advisor serves as the first point of contact for many prospective clients and plays a critical role in building BlueprintIQ’s pipeline of qualified opportunities.

The role is not simply about selling services. It is about starting meaningful conversations, uncovering business challenges, and helping prospective clients understand how BlueprintIQ can guide them from uncertainty to clarity through strategy, technology, operations, data, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation

·         Identify prospective clients within BlueprintIQ’s target markets and service areas.

·         Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and community engagement.

·         Research businesses, industries, and decision-makers before outreach.

·         Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new prospects.

·         Qualify leads based on business needs, urgency, budget, decision-making authority, and strategic fit.

Appointment Setting and Opportunity Development

·         Schedule discovery calls and introductory meetings for Business Advisors or senior leadership.

·         Prepare prospect notes and background information before handoff.

·         Track outreach activity, responses, follow-ups, and meeting outcomes in the company CRM.

·         Support lead nurturing campaigns and re-engagement efforts.

Brand Representation

·         Represent BlueprintIQ professionally in all communications.

·         Clearly communicate BlueprintIQ’s value as a strategic advisory and business consulting partner.

·         Avoid high-pressure or transactional sales tactics.

·         Build trust through professionalism, preparation, and consistent follow-through.

Sales Support

·         Assist Business Advisors with account research, outreach sequencing, and follow-up activity.

·         Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, pipeline reviews, and campaign planning.

·         Help identify market trends, client pain points, and common objections.

·         Support event, webinar, referral, and community outreach initiatives.



Success Measures

Success in this role may be measured by:

·         New outbound contacts completed.

·         Discovery meetings booked.

·         Qualified opportunities created.

·         CRM activity accuracy.

·         Follow-up completion rate.

·         Pipeline value influenced.

·         Conversion rate from prospect to scheduled meeting.

Compensation Structure

This is a commission and bonus-eligible position. Compensation may include commissions, performance bonuses, referral incentives, appointment-setting incentives, and other sales-related earnings, as determined by company policy.

Commission and bonus payments are subject to BlueprintIQ’s current sales compensation plan, eligibility requirements, client payment status, deal assignment rules, and applicable clawback provisions.
