Position Overview:
VersaTech is seeking a detail-oriented Business and Data Analyst to join our team in Savage, MD. The successful candidate will collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, build reports and dashboards that support business decision-making, and help identify opportunities for process improvement. This role also supports the development of AI-driven analytical solutions and requires close attention to the accuracy, integrity, and security of the data used for analysis and reporting.
Salary: $112,000 to $115,000 depending on experience. Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
Work Environment: This position is based at VersaTech's Savage, MD office, with remote work permitted. Standard hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to support business decision-making.
- Assist in identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the development and maintenance of databases, translating business needs into analytical solutions.
- Use AI tools and develop AI agents to support analytical workflows.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used for analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
- Familiarity with data visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
