Lead discovery and process-mapping sessions with law firm stakeholders to translate business needs into Salesforce and Litify configurations. Author solution design documents, write user stories, and support the build and testing phases through go-live.
BRIO is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Salesforce practice, with a focus on implementing Litify for law firms. You’ll work directly with attorneys, intake teams, paralegals, and firm operations leaders to understand how they run their practice, then translate that into a well-designed Salesforce and Litify configuration.
What our projects involve
Litify implementations: intake, matter and case management, litigation workflows, damages and settlements, and billing and trust accounting
Salesforce configuration and enhancement for legal and other professional services clients: objects and fields, flows, page layouts, reports, and dashboards
Data migrations and integrations from legacy case management systems and other tools into Salesforce
You’ll work with consultants, Salesforce admins, developers, QA, and project managers. You will not be writing code. The job is to understand the client’s process, design the right declarative solution, and give the delivery team clear, buildable requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead discovery and process-mapping sessions with law firm stakeholders and own the resulting documentation
Map current-state and future-state processes, such as intake to retained matter, case lifecycle stages, and referral and settlement workflows
Analyze the client’s existing systems and data (legacy case management, spreadsheets, intake tools) as input for design and migration
Write requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that an admin or developer can build from
Recommend solutions that use Litify and Salesforce standard functionality first, and identify where customization is truly needed
Author sections of solution design documents, including data model, automation logic, and security and sharing
Create data mapping documents for migrations
Support the build by answering design questions, reviewing configuration, and clarifying requirements
Write and execute test cases, support UAT, and help clients through go-live
Shadow discovery sessions until you have mastered specific components, then lead them
Requirements
Experience in business or systems analysis, or QA, gathering requirements from non-technical business users
Strong facilitation skills, with comfort running a room of attorneys and staff and drawing out how work actually gets done
Clear written and verbal communication, including documentation that engineers and clients can both use
Working knowledge of relational data concepts (objects, fields, relationships). SOQL or SQL experience is helpful, and we’ll teach SOQL
Experience writing user stories, test cases, and UAT scripts
Ability to analyze data and present findings with reports and dashboards
Preferred
Salesforce experience (Admin or Business Analyst certification, or a path to one)
Litify or other legal case management platform experience (Filevine, Clio, etc.)
Knowledge of legal workflows, especially personal injury, mass tort, or litigation practices
