Business Analyst

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex technology initiatives involving application modernization, system enhancements, connectivity solutions, and digital service implementations. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership to gather and analyze requirements, develop business and technical specifications, review and re-engineer business processes, and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements. Responsibilities will include facilitating stakeholder consultations and business process improvement sessions, supporting systems and software design, developing business architecture and database models, coordinating project meetings, tracking deliverables, risks, issues, and timelines, and preparing project documentation and status reports. The role will also involve bridging communication between business and technical teams, supporting iterative development, identifying training requirements, and contributing to the delivery of complex software solutions across n-tier environments. Experience with UML, XML, web services technologies, Agile development environments, stakeholder engagement, and technical/business analysis is required, along with experience working with correctional facility systems and related business processes.
