The Business Analyst will gather and document business requirements while collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into functional specifications. They are responsible for mapping business processes, identifying optimization opportunities, and supporting the delivery of solutions across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements
Work with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into functional specifications
Create clear documentation (user stories, process flows, business requirements documents)
Support solution design and ensure alignment with business goals
Collaborate with development and QA teams during implementation
Participate in testing and validation of solutions
Identify process improvements and recommend optimization opportunities
Support project delivery and ensure timelines are met
Analyse and map current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes using standard modelling techniques (e.g. BPMN, flowcharts)
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to capture detailed process flows, dependencies, and pain points
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimisation opportunities across end-to-end processes
Ensure process documentation is clear, standardised, and aligned with business and IT objectives
Support solution design by translating process maps into functional requirements and improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate processes and ensure successful implementation of changes

Required Skills & Experience
Experience as a Business Analyst
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with requirement gathering techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews)
Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
Good documentation skills (e.g., user stories, BRDs)
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Jira, Confluence, or similar
Strong process modelling and analysis skills (BPMN, process flows, swimlane diagrams)
Ability to break down complex workflows into structured, understandable components
Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder interviews
Analytical mindset with focus on continuous improvement and optimisation
Strong documentation and visualisation skills (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
Good understanding of business operations and how systems support processes
Ability to bridge business needs with technical implementation
Nice to Have
- Experience in the aircraft or leasing industry - Experience in the finance sector - Good to have worked with Adonis for BPMN or Azure DevOps for planning
