Day in the Life: Business Technology Intern

Are you ready to jumpstart your career? The Business Technology Intern will play an exciting role in providing part-time support to our dynamic Technology Team! You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse project assignments that may span across Product, Engineering, Project Management, Data, AI, and Automation, all tailored to meet our business needs. Each assignment is crafted based on current departmental priorities, ensuring a unique and enriching experience that may not necessarily rotate across all areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Support project assignments as needed across Product, Engineering, Project Management, Data, AI, and Automation teams.
2. Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements, user feedback, and feature research.
3. Support testing, documentation, and coordination of development tasks.
4. Assist with tracking project timelines, status reporting, and coordination of special project initiatives.
5. Support compiling, organizing, and analyzing data to support reporting and decision-making.
6. Assist with research, testing, and documentation related to AI tools and initiatives.
7. Assist with identifying, building, and documenting automation solutions to improve process efficiency.
8. Document resolutions, learnings, and outcomes for future reference.
9. Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be actively pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree at an accredited college or university.
2. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
3. Strong attention to detail and accountability.
4. Ability to learn and support new applications to gain advanced knowledge of company supported applications.
5. Interpersonal skills to enable collaboration with other team members across departments.
6. Adaptability and willingness to support varied project work across different Technology functions as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job operates in a physical office environment with computers and related technology. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 20 pounds.
