Four years in, we've gone from two people to almost 30. We've worked with over 100 brands across FMCG, beauty, film, and lifestyle. Current brand partnerships include Rockface, Fussy, Little’s Coffee, Wype, Genius Foods, and Fussy.

Three pods run the agency: Brand, Growth, and Social. They work as specialist teams, and combine to deliver integrated support.

The role

The Brand pod is the highest opportunity area in Brand Hackers today. It runs eight brand partnerships at the moment and sets the direction for some of the most interesting challenger brands in the UK, and is about to scale fast. Brand Hackers have been growing >50% year on year and that will continue!

We're hiring a Brand Lead to set the strategic direction for the pod and lead the work. You'll report directly to Lottie, our founder.

You'll own:

The senior relationship on our biggest accounts. You're the most senior point of contact for the founders we work with, and you set the bar for what excellent brand work looks like.

You’ll be acting as Marketing Director for brands two days a week doing the work hands on! The other days are coaching and leading the team.

A team of three with two open roles, expected to double in the next twelve months, plus our internal creative department (a designer and a copywriter today, growing).

You'll feel like the owner of your pod- so you'll need to input into how we package and deliver our brand work, really listening to feedback from clients, and looking at how we can learn from others

The strategy and growth of the Brand pod, with heavy influence on the P&L, in partnership with our Commercial Director, Will.

Strong relationships across the agency. You'll work closely with the Growth and Social pod leads, the commercial team, and Lottie, making sure brand work plugs into everything else we do.

Why this role is different

You're stepping into a brand agency that already has the clients, the reputation, and the momentum, with the strategic direction still yours to set. You'll report directly to the founder. No layers, no politics, fast decisions. You'll work with founder-led businesses (Rockface, Wype, Genius Foods, Fussy and the rest of the roster), so your senior client is the actual founder, not a marketing manager two rungs down. And you'll build the team you want.

What we need from you

Deep brand strategy expertise. Strong track record on challenger brands, in agency or senior in-house.

Experience leading and growing high-performing people.

Agency fluency. You can run multiple accounts, senior stakeholders, and fast deadlines without dropping quality.

Confidence leading strategy, pitching, and consulting with founders and senior clients. You’ll be delighted to stand in a room of marketers and talk about brand.

Commercial fluency. You've run a department P&L, set pricing, and managed margins.

A real instinct for great creative, and the standards to push it further.
