Role & responsibilities :

  • Must have 3 years of relevant experience in Canadian bookkeeping or accounting, preferably supporting small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, including account reconciliation and financial reporting.
  • Experience preparing and filing HST returns and handling Canadian tax compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Canadian payroll processing, including CPP, EI, and income tax deductions and remittances (preferred)
  • Understanding of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
