Bookkeeper

Salary: R29 000 – R30 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Bookkeeper for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded
• Process supplier invoices, employee expenses and client payments
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and assist with VAT returns
• Liaise with the accountant and finance team on reporting requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Experience with bank reconciliations and basic financial reporting
