Bilingual Dental Biller (DentiMax and Dental Exchange experience)

We are seeking a highly experienced Bilingual Virtual Dental Biller to manage the full cycle of dental claims and authorizations for our practice. This role owns the entire claims process—from submission to payment reconciliation—and requires someone who is persistent, organized, and proactive on the phone with insurance carriers.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: DentiMax and Dental Exchange experience are absolute requirements. Candidates without hands-on experience in both platforms will NOT be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Claims Management: Submit new claims via Dental Exchange, audit daily submissions, process EOBs, and manage corrected resubmissions/appeals in DentiMax.

Insurance & Prior Auth: Verify patient benefits, submit/track prior authorizations, and update patient coverage details accurately.

Denial & Aging Resolution: Track unpaid/aging claims, investigate root causes of denials, and work aging reports to keep accounts receivable low.

Payment Reconciliation: Audit posted payments against EOBs, identify missing or short payments, and resolve disputes with insurance carriers.

Carrier Communication & CDT Coding: Perform outbound carrier calls regarding claim statuses and ensure accurate CDT code application and review.

Requirements

DentiMax EMR & Dental Exchange: REQUIRED, NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent English and Spanish (read, write, speak).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of US dental billing, claims, and prior authorization experience.

CDT Coding & Insurance Knowledge: Proficient in CDT codes and familiar with PPO, HMO, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage dental plans.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with EOBs, aging reports, payment reconciliation, and written appeals.

Workspace Setup: Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace.

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 – $7 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, aligned with U.S. business hours.
