VOTRE MISSION
As a Bid Production Manager, you will join a team of talented individuals dedicated to developing international projects in the recycling and recovery of both household and industrial waste (international tenders, acquisitions or merchant plant implementation). You will report hierarchically to the Waste Business Excellence Director.
Under the Project Director’s accountability, you are responsible for the Bid Production. In conjunction with the BU’s and the Headquarter teams, you will coordinate preliminary studies, prepare the bid, particularly in terms of its technical, legal and financial aspects, and participate in negotiations until the contract is signed.
You will be responsible for managing the project team, and for delivering the project to the client.
The Bid Production Manager:
- Manages the bid on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinates team efforts, communicates with bid team members
- Executes specific tasks, such as assisting the Project Director in:
- Preparing the Steering Committee and reporting structures (senior management, OpCom and Board) to obtain necessary approvals
- Formalizing the project management plan (organization chart, project schedule, governance, list of deliverables, etc.)
- Assessing the project Risks & Opportunities
- Manages the project team with the support of the Project Director, in a multicultural context
- Relying on BU’s teams, ensures alignment with Client’s requirements
- Ensures timescales are met
- Plans and coordinates Client dialogue
VOTRE PROFIL
Experience
Higher
education degree (engineering school or equivalent Master's degree).
At least 10
years' experience in project/bid management in the waste infrastructure sector
(ideally energy recovery).
Skills
- An
understanding of the various business models and legal frameworks for waste
infrastructure projects
- A technical
knowledge of the Energy-from-waste industry and its regulations.

Commercially astute with a proven track record in bidding, managing and
successfully delivering large-scale, complex, Energy from Waste projects in
high-profile situations involving multiple stakeholders.
- An ability
to reconcile the competing priorities of day-to-day activities with longer-term
objectives, to optimise performance.
- An ability
to manage a project team in a cross functional and multicultural context.
- A good awareness
in dealing with public sector clients.
- A flexibility
that allows adaptation to different local contexts depending on the project.
- A strong
attention to detail and ability to synthesise information
- A highly
developed oral, written and presentation skills in English.
Position open to remote working: Suez promotes a healthy work-life balance, and
this position is open to remote working. International travel may be required
depending on project needs.
