About TQA
TQA is the Agentic AI Experts. We turn Agentic AI into real-world advantage, transforming how enterprises operate, adapt, and outperform. We deliver agentic and automation solutions that work in production rather than in a laboratory, built across Microsoft, UiPath, and ServiceNow, with the integration expertise to connect legacy, cloud, and new platforms. We stay with our clients from vision through to measurable value.
Better. Faster. Proven.
Our values guide how we work: Be Human, Every Day. Always Moving Forward. Future Focused. A Trusted Partner.
About the Role
Our Microsoft practice is growing. We are building it deliberately around three go-to-market pillars, and we need a senior technical leader in the United States to carry that story into the market and stand behind it in delivery.
We are hiring a Solution Architect to lead the technical front line of our Microsoft practice in the United States. This is a market-facing role, not a back-office one.
Approximately half of your time sits in pre-sales. You will shape solutions in live pursuits, write and own the technical content of proposals, estimate scope and effort, and present our expertise directly to clients in pitches. The remaining half sits in delivery leadership: setting the architecture and the quality standard for US-based accounts, and making sure what we sell is what we deliver.
You will work as an extension of our Microsoft Practice Leader, carrying the same technical authority into client conversations, Microsoft field conversations, and internal solution reviews. You will report to the Microsoft Practice Leader.
Your compensation is aligned to your ability to grow the practice. This is a role for someone who wants their name on won work, not only on delivered work.
Focus Areas
Our Microsoft go-to-market rests on three pillars. We expect real depth in at least two of them, and we are especially interested in candidates who bring weight to the third.
Fabric and the Azure AI and data layer
Our emerging pillar: a wider Fabric and data offering, with Microsoft Foundry.
This is where we most want to add capability. Depth in Fabric, Azure AI, and the underlying data layer is what will set the strongest candidate apart.
Copilot and Copilot Studio
Agent building, including Agent Academy, credit-based pricing, and the Agentic Workflow Builder, alongside Microsoft 365 Copilot training and enablement.
You will help clients identify the right first agent use cases, put them into production safely, and show value quickly rather than running another experiment.
Power Platform
Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and code apps. This is our most active area today, anchored by citizen development and enablement.
You will design governed Power Platform estates that scale past the first success, and coach client teams to run them without losing control.
Key responsibilities
Pre-sales, approximately 50 percent of your time
Lead solution design in active pursuits, translating client outcomes into a defensible Microsoft architecture.
Design and define solution offerings and capabilities for the company.
Write and own the technical content of proposals, statements of work, and responses to formal requests.
Estimate scope, effort, delivery shape, and commercial risk, then defend those estimates internally and with the client.
Act as the senior technical voice in the client pitches, executive briefings, and competitive bake-offs.
Run discovery workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews that convert into paid engagements.
Build reusable assets: reference architectures, demonstrations, accelerators, and estimating models that make the next pursuit faster.
Delivery leadership
Own the architecture for US-based Microsoft engagements, from design authority through to production.
Set the technical quality standard, review delivery team output, and hold the line on governance and security.
Resolve technical escalations on live accounts and protect the client relationship when a delivery gets difficult.
Turn delivered work into references, case studies, and evidence for Microsoft specializations.
Mentor consultants and developers, and support the practice certification plan.
Microsoft alliance
Build working relationships with Microsoft field sellers, technical specialists, and partner development managers across your territory.
Support co-sell motions, joint account planning, and Microsoft-sourced pipeline.
Represent TQA in Microsoft field briefings, partner events, and joint customer workshops.
How we will measure success (in the first 12 months)
You are the named architect on the majority of US Microsoft pursuits, and both proposal quality and win rate improve measurably.
Estimates you own land within an agreed tolerance of actual delivered effort.
Microsoft-influenced opportunities progress to closed-won in the three pillars.
Two or more referenceable US engagements are delivered in the pillars, with client consent to be named.
Certification and specialisation evidence advantages against the practice skilling plan.
Microsoft field teams in at least two territories name you as a trusted technical contact for TQA.
Required skills and experience
Experience. Substantial experience as a solution architect, principal consultant, or equivalent, within a Microsoft partner, systems integrator, or consultancy. Experience working with the Microsoft field sales organization and making an impact in partnership for growth.
Technical depth. Demonstrated depth in at least two of our three pillars. Genuine expertise in Fabric and the Azure AI and data layer is strongly preferred.
Commercial track record. Proposals you wrote, deals you helped close, and pitches you led. We will ask for specifics.
Estimating. You can size and price work, and you are comfortable being accountable for the estimate you gave.
Range. Credible with a chief information officer in the morning and a developer in the afternoon. You explain architecture in business terms without losing the detail.
Governance at scale. Experience taking Power Platform or agent estates from pilot to governed scale, including citizen development enablement.
Location. Based in the United States with existing authorisation to work here, and willing to travel to client sites.
Certification. Microsoft certification aligned to your focus areas is a benefit. AZ-306 is a plus.
Nice to have
Integration experience across legacy and cloud estates, including Dynamics 365 and Azure.
Exposure to UiPath or ServiceNow, and an interest in agentic development on Anthropic Claude and other model providers.
Experience standing up a practice or an offering from an early stage.
Compensation
This role carries a base salary plus a performance-linked variable component. The variable element is measured on the growth of the TQA Microsoft practice, specifically on bookings you influence and help close in the three pillars, rather than on delivery utilisation alone.
