AVP Portfolio, Performance & Business Planning.RBG-Pvt Bnkg Head & Central Team

Business Planning, Performance Management & Portfolio Management: 

• Business Planning and reporting for Private Banking including annual budgeting, forecast, actuals tracking, cost allocations, HC management etc.

• Analyze Monthly financials including Segment level, Product and Customer level reporting and ensure any gaps and opportunities and discussed and addressed with Finance team

• Ensure portfolio is correctly mapped to each RMs, manage all remapping, upgrades /downgrades, and allocations during RM change/resignations. 
• Track all KPIs for Segment and teams  RM, UM, IS, CSMs in line with their  MBOs & scorecards 
• Implement a robust scorecard, incentive plan and sales governance for all roles in line with Segment’s vision, including on-going monitoring and execution.

• Defining FY Targets in accordance to Business plan and set goals, rollout to Frontlines

• Quarterly Target adjustments on account of re-tagging/compliance closures/upgrades

• Revenues Forecast and identify the gaps for planning and implementation

• Ensure timely and accurate Payouts to Frontlines, including retrocession adjustments 

• Enhance Performance Dashboard to include all parameters for a complete Performance update for review and tracking.

• Publishing Performance Dashboard on a monthly basis across all  profiles and accurately.

• Solving RM queries and Liaoning with Finance to close all raised queries.

• Creating simulation scenarios as per business KPIs for evaluation  and implementation

External Asset Manager Desk & Intermediary Governance: 

• Manager governance of EAM desk and Intermediary Desk within Private Banking –SOPs, framework, Agreements, tracking, retrocessions, regulation and governance including termination and quarterly performance reviews
• Manage process of referral, agreements, revenue tracking and retrocession payouts
• Have effective Governance forum for EAMs and Intermediaries as agreed with Wealth Governance team, ensure all contracts and data in system is accurate, ensure RCSA as necessary and payment process. 

• Interact closely with RMs, BIU, Finance, IT and Ops , CPD, CX, Governance teams for relevant processes and keep an eye for automation

• Maintain cross functional relationship with Segment and Product teams, other stakeholders i.e. Risk, Credit, Compliance as needed 

• Operate within demarcated business areas adhering to the policies and guidelines set

• Ensure all SOPs related to the function are in place and updated time to time as required

• Maintenance of all records / approvals in place, put controls to ensure effectiveness 

• Ensure compliance of policies and procedures within the bank 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A strong candidate with outstanding knowledge of systems including Macros, SQL , BI
• A proactive and energetic personality with the ability and desire to multi-task 
• Post Graduate with a minimum of 12+ years experience with one or more main stream banks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills and identify areas of improvement
• Strong understanding of P&L, along with client life cycle management
• Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
