The Automation Architect will lead the discovery, design, and deployment of mission-critical AI and automation workflows across the organization. They will also manage and mentor a team of developers while ensuring engineering standards and governance are upheld.
Reports into Ansira's AI Center of Excellence, based in Colombia. Leads the discovery, design, and deployment of mission-critical AI and automation workflows across the business, and manages a group of AI and automation developers. Partners closely with leadership, business stakeholders, the broader engineering organization, and the automation engineering team to turn business needs into scalable, well-governed automated solutions.
What You Will Do
Lead discovery and opportunity assessment across business functions to identify high-value automation targets
Own end-to-end architecture and technical design for automation and AI workflows, spanning multiple enterprise systems
Set and enforce engineering standards — testing, observability, deployment, and governance — for the automation program
Manage and mentor a team of AI and automation developers, setting technical direction and reviewing designs
Translate leadership and stakeholder priorities into technical specifications, and technical tradeoffs back into business terms
Design integration patterns connecting AI agents, RPA/automation platforms, and enterprise systems
Partner with engineering, business stakeholders, and automation engineers to validate and prioritize solutions
Own vendor/platform evaluation input and reusable component standards for the automation practice
Qualifications
Required
5-7 years designing and leading automation/AI system architecture across multiple enterprise systems
Programming experience in any coding language
Demonstrated system design experience
Strong software development practices (testing, CI/CD, code quality standards)
Working experience designing and deploying agentic workflows
Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
Proficiency in English
Preferred
Experience with enterprise integration patterns (APIs, microservices, cloud platforms)
Experience establishing governance/CoE frameworks
Experience supporting platform or vendor evaluation
