We are seeking for Supply Chain Auditor in our Food and Nutrition Division . To provide audit services within Supply Chain Food Safety business unit. This position is responsible for evaluating assigned suppliers’ compliance with relevant standards and pre-determined criteria for food safety and quality; producing reports detailing audit findings; communicating those results to the supplier as well as NSF team members.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct the full range of assigned Food Safety & Quality audits.
  • Conduct special supplier visits to investigate product failures and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with program representatives and project managers as it relates to client-specific concerns affecting plants assigned to the auditor.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five (5) years food processing experience (food plant experience in a responsible position related to food safety).
  • Qualified as a consultant or auditor in at least one of the GFSI benchmarked standards, (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC, and/or Global GAP)
  • In-depth working knowledge of the manufacture of food and allied products.
  • Ability to perform audits in more than one program area and/or ability to train auditors.
  • Ability to work independently from remote location.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to maintain a valid and current passport and have the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
