Audiologist Lead

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audiologist Lead to drive clinical operations and manage the benefits process supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will have a proven background in audiology, strong leadership capabilities, and experience coordinating and overseeing efficient clinical operations support for a regional and/or national enterprise.

 

The position is intended to support an opportunity that is pending award. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations across multiple subcontracted locations, ensuring high standards of Veteran care and service.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, oversight, and quality assurance to front-line, audiology Examiners.
  • Enhance operational efficiency while ensuring outstanding clinical audiology services.
  • Direct the deployment and management of programs to improve access to audiology services.
  • Consolidate and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor clinical performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of disability and compensation audiology examinations conducted by professional audiology services providers.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate project and operational documentation, including status updates and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and SAIC/VA policies in the delivery of audiology services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) and at least three 6+ years of experience relevant to completing VA disability examinations.
  • Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice audiology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Experience in clinical operations and program management.
  • Experience with implementation and evaluation principles, as well as relevant regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of program development.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale clinical operations.
  • The ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
  • Previous experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Department of Defense, or other large government agencies.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Department of Defense, or other large government agencies.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
