The tonies® USA Content Team is looking for a Content Manager to focus on Spanish content and product development for children as well as managing all content for the digital library.
This candidate will help to spearhead Spanish and bilingual licensing and original content opportunities and audio productions at tonies®. This requires the candidate to fluently speak, write, and understand the Spanish language and global dialects, have a high level of organization, a rigorous attention to detail, and to be incredibly deadline driven. The ideal candidate has prior licensing or children’s publishing experience and the ability to work collaboratively in helping to develop high-quality audio productions. They excel in working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and are excellent collaborators.
The ideal candidate loves children’s books, music, and storytelling, and has a familiarity with character driven entertainment franchises. They have an “ear” for what children want to hear and for what will make an excellent audio experience.
Working closely with the Senior Audio Content Manager U.S., Head of Content U.S., Audio Producers, Licensing & Portfolio, the role aligns editorial vision with production execution, contributes to portfolio strategy through performance insights, manages delivery risks, and represents editorial leadership in cross-functional collaboration.
Own the end-to-end editorial process for assigned projects, from concept validation through project launch.
Track and document project status in Asana, ensuring deadlines are met and approvals are in place.
Develop and review scripts, storylines, treatments, and adaptations, audience fit, and creative quality.
Manage feedback loops across licensors, writers, and internal stakeholders, consolidating edits into clear creative direction.
Ensure localization and cultural adaptation, working closely with translators, cultural consultants, and local teams.
Collaborate with Producers to ensure editorial deliverables are technically and creatively production-ready.
Act as the main editorial point of contact for key licensors, studios, and creative partners.
Propose the editorial scope and onward editorial development aligned with both tonies® and Licensor’s needs and guardrails, in close alignment with Head of Content and Senior Audio Content Manager, U.S.
Work with Licensing and Portfolio to develop strategy and roadmap for our Spanish and digital content portfolio.
Research and prioritize which books, licenses, and properties to acquire for tonies®.
Align with the Licensing & Content Team on all opportunities and meet with licensors to grow the Spanish and digital content portfolio.
Proactively seek out new and up-and-coming content creators.
Listen to and assess audio content for development and/or curation for the digital library ensuring all content meets tonies® editorial standards.
Collaborate with international teams on global licensing initiatives.
Partner with Audio Producers to align editorial and production pipelines for efficiency and quality.
Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend new formats or narratives.
Escalate risks in editorial delivery timelines and propose mitigation plans.

Technical Requirement
Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
Experience: 3+ years in audio production, publishing, or children’s media.
Expertise in project management, script development, editing, and reviewing and familiarity with audio production processes.
Communication: Experience in communicating with licensors’ creative teams and writers.
Passion for children’s content.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
