Role Overview
  • Great student experiences don’t happen without great administration behind them.
  • As our AU RTO Student Administrator, you’ll support one of our Australian clients by keeping the details behind the student journey accurate, complete, and moving on time.
  • Student records, attendance, competency results, assessment evidence, work placement documentation, and compliance-related administration will all pass through your hands. You’ll be the person who catches the missing field, spots the discrepancy, and makes sure student files are exactly where they need to be.
  • If Australian RTO administration is familiar territory — and a perfectly maintained student file gives you a strange amount of satisfaction — this role has your name all over it.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process student attendance records accurately and on time.
  • Process competency records and student results.
  • Manage student withdrawals according to established procedures.
  • Process assessment evidence submitted by trainers.
  • Maintain work placement booklets and supporting documentation.
  • Review student files for missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in student records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
  • Work across Student Management Systems (SMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Support trainers and the broader team with student administration.
  • Complete administrative tasks within required timeframes.
  • Manage assigned workload independently and consistently.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant administration experience, ideally within an Australian RTO environment.
  • Experience with Australian RTO administration.
  • Experience using Student Management Systems.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with high-volume or detail-heavy data entry.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with VETtrak.
  • Experience with Cloud Assess.
  • Broader experience working across RTO systems and student administration platforms.

Work Details


  • Work Setup: Remote / Work from Home.
  • Environment: Supporting an Australian RTO.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday.
  • Working Hours: Day-shift (AEST).
