Management Level:
P3Summary: The University Recruiting Specialist (College Recruiting) is responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships as well as identifying intern & entry level talent for the Tyson Foods Enterprise. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleges/universities and professional organizations to maintain an on-going relationship to create a pipeline of talent for the organization, internal business leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners and other HR professionals
Represent the company at recruitment events
Collaborate with managers to identify and source qualified candidates using sourcing tool kit and techniques to attract top talent to the organization such as job boards, search engines, niche sites, LinkedIn and other social media, passive lead generation, etc.
Provide consultative full life-cycle recruiting while remaining OFCCP compliant
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: 1+ years of Human Resources or recruiting experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in a variety of settings across all organizational levels
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems, SAP, data mining techniques, and strong scouring capabilities preferred
Special Skills: Ability to multi-task; detail oriented; motivated, self-starter; determination to improve and expand corporate programs; ability to be effective with limited resources.
Travel: 5-10 trips a year
