Some responsibilities of the Associate role include:
Coordinate multiple, efficient hiring processes for both full and part-time positions, including job postings, interview scheduling and preparation, candidate communications, and data maintenance and reporting on individual searches, while using sound judgment to prioritize competing needs and keep searches moving forward.
Ensure candidates have a strong experience with TNTP’s hiring process by serving as their main point of contact, quickly responding to questions about TNTP, hiring processes, and expectations, and delivering clear, timely, and compelling communications that reflect our values and employer brand.
Develop and deliver clear, timely, and audience-aware communications to regular and contingent TNTP staff, ensuring staff have the information and resources they need in advance of conducting interviews, reviewing hiring exercises, and making offers.

Collaborate with other staff members to leverage social media, internet sourcing, referral sources, and other tools to identify qualified leads and build strong, diverse candidate pipelines for open roles.
Support ongoing knowledge management for your team and broader department, including organizing information and leveraging technology and AI tools appropriately to improve efficiency, communication, and workflow management.
Contribute to related Talent Acquisition priorities and team projects as needed, bringing flexibility, sound judgment, and a willingness to support evolving organizational needs.
WHAT YOU HAVE
We expect our Associates to:
Operate with strategic awareness. You don’t just manage what’s in front of you. You hold context across multiple searches and stakeholders, anticipate what’s coming, and act before you’re asked. You understand the difference between urgent and important and help keep hiring work on track.
Multi-task effectively. You are a natural prioritizer, enjoy learning new things, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple searches, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Be a self-starter and a natural problem-solver. You quickly identify challenges, think critically about root causes, and propose practical solutions. You anticipate hiring needs, take initiative, and help keep work moving so hiring managers and candidates are well supported throughout the process.
Sweat the details without losing the thread. You are a natural organizer who stays on top of details others may miss. You manage many moving pieces across multiple searches and stakeholders while keeping the broader hiring process on track.
Communicate thoughtfully with precision and judgment. Your writing is clean, clear, and audience-aware. You know when to be brief, when to add context, and when to flag something rather than handle it yourself. Whether sending a quick response or drafting a message for a larger group, you communicate with professionalism and sound judgment.
Build strong relationships. You take a customer service and partnership approach in your work. You build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders through responsiveness, professionalism, discretion, and follow-through, and you provide a high level of support throughout the hiring process.
Your Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, human resources, operations, or a related field preferred.
Experience coordinating multiple workflows, projects, or stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using HR platforms and collaboration tools such as Teams. Experience using Workday as an applicant tracking system is preferred, along with familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools.
Experience using technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, communication, and workflow management is a plus, along with sound judgment about accuracy, confidentiality, and when human review is needed.
The salary range for this position is $25.08 – $37.62/hour. New hires can typically expect a starting salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint ($25.08-$31.35), in alignment with experience, qualifications, and our commitment to equity in compensation.
