Associate - Commercial Litigation

Bochner PLLC is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and hands-on experience across all phases of complex commercial litigation. The position is hybrid for candidates based in the New York City area and fully remote for candidates located outside the greater NYC area.

What You'll Do

• Handle substantive work on commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Support and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and factual analysis on contract disputes, business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, and related business claims.
• Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, and internal teams to advance case strategy.
• Manage deadlines and case responsibilities across multiple active matters.

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 3–7 years of litigation experience, including meaningful commercial litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience handling matters in federal court is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

The salary range for this position is $140,000–$230,000, depending on experience and geographic location. The role is hybrid for candidates based in the New York City area and fully remote for candidates outside the greater NYC area.
