As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a critical role in advancing our project portfolio through complex federal, state, and local permitting and licensing processes. This role is central to enabling project execution—ensuring that our developments meet all regulatory requirements while maintaining strong relationships with agencies, stakeholders, and communities. Current Hydro is seeking a motivated Regulatory Specialist to join our team. This is a remote, full-time position. The Regulatory Specialist will be responsible for obtaining, managing, and maintaining permits and licenses for new hydropower projects, primarily across Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Illinois, with future expansion into the Midwest and Southeast.
This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Compensation is based on the range outlined below and is determined by several factors, including a candidate’s background, experience, location, and performance.
Salary Range
$64,000 – $135,000 per year (based on experience)
