Clausen Miller P.C. is a nationally recognized insurance defense firm with decades of experience representing major insurers and self-insured clients across complex litigation matters. We're growing our Connecticut litigation team and looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to work closely with a Senior Partner on a diverse caseload spanning casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability.

This is a hands-on role from day one — you'll be taking depositions, making court appearances, and building your litigation skills within a collaborative, well-resourced team.

What You'll Do

Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands and responses
Conduct and defend depositions
Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review
Perform legal research and case analysis
Appear in Connecticut courts as needed

What We're Looking For

2–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability or environmental liability
Active Connecticut bar admission required; New York and/or New Jersey bar admissions a plus
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Detail-oriented self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $105,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience
