Purpose

The Associate Territory Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of products and services within an assigned territory by developing relationships with new and existing customers, educating clients on product offerings, and identifying opportunities to increase sales. This role works closely with customers, sales leadership, and internal teams to understand customer needs, provide appropriate product solutions, and contribute to territory sales goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of territory sales plans and activities designed to achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory through prospecting, networking, referrals, and other sales activities
  • Assist in identifying local market opportunities, customer needs, and potential business challenges
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain consistent communication with accounts
  • Present and educate prospective and existing customers on company products, services, features, benefits, and appropriate applications
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and recommend relevant product solutions with guidance from sales leadership as needed
  • Support customer onboarding and ongoing account development
  • Respond to customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, ordering processes, and services
  • Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional products and services when appropriate
  • Track territory activity, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales progress
  • Provide regular updates to sales leadership regarding territory activity, opportunities, challenges, and progress toward sales goals
  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership, customer service, operations, marketing, and other internal teams to provide a positive customer experience
  • Partner with experienced sales representatives and team members to learn effective territory management and sales strategies
  • Participate in product training, sales meetings, industry events, conferences, and customer education opportunities
  • Develop an understanding of the aesthetics industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Stay informed on relevant product information, industry developments, and competitive activity
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, consultative selling skills, presentation skills, and territory management capabilities
  • Positively contribute to team goals and overall organizational success
  • Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations and standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours, customer meetings, training, and company meetings
  • Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales management, or related field required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Clearance of favorable background investigation required
