Assistant General Counsel

What Your Impact will be:
- Advise on the legal aspects of the BU's commercial activities, the responsibilities of the legal team include:
- Assists with resolution of employment-related legal issues.
- Drafts and negotiates settlement agreements with customers.
- Advises Altera regarding Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA").
- Drafts and negotiates vendor agreements.
- Participates in due diligence exercises.

What will make you stand out:
- Advises company regarding risk issues.
- Plans, manages and leads the operation of the legal department in conjunction with the Sr VP, General Counsel.
- Supports the Altera Vision and Values in achieving performance.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
