ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Area Sales Manager, you play an important role in our German-based team, working closely with your colleagues to oversee and drive sales and marketing processes in the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) market. You lead, prioritize and develop all customer segments to ensure good results and profitable growth.

You will proactively acquire new customers across southern Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Balkans, in parallel to developing existing customers. This position includes traditional sales work: exploration, meeting booking, customer visits, sales meetings, business intelligence, implementation, and follow-up.

You will be responsible for developing sales and marketing processes, providing feedback on customer requirements and market trends for product development and management. Additionally, you will work actively with customer care, make quotes and maintain customer registers and CRM systems, and plan, implement and participate in events, trade fairs and similar activities.

This position is fully remote, and the location is preferably in the south eastern part of Germany. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager in Germany, based in Stuttgart. Traveling is a significant part of this position, mainly in the Central Europe region.

Your profound interest in technology enables you to understand both our products and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Documented sales experience of B2B or business development experience in fiber optics, connectivity, or related technical industries.

  • Sales experience from the defense industry.

  • A technical business background or similar work experience.

  • Knowledge/experience of public procurement.

  • Fluent German is required; Czech, or another language from the surrounding region is an advantage. Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English is also required.

  • A valid driving licence.

Education in fiber optics is a meritorious qualification.
