Étudier les théories et les pratiques reliées à l'enseignement de santé et éducation physique. Analyser des attentes, politiques et directives du programme d'études de l'Ontario. Examiner le développement de l'élève. Étudier l'élaboration, la mise en œuvre et l'évaluation des programmes.

Exigences minimales:

- Maîtrise en éducation;

- Qualification spécialisée dans le domaine;

- Expérience récente en enseignement à temps plein dans une école ou en administration dans un conseil scolaire;

 - Expérience de 2 ans dans la mise en oeuvre du curriculum de l'Ontario dans cette matière;

 - Confirmation de qualification à jour dans le domaine;

 - Capacité d'appliquer les Normes d'exercice de la profession et du Code de déontologie des enseignantes et enseignants de l'Ontario.

Un niveau d'éducation/d'expérience jugé équivalent pourrait suppléer aux exigences d'éducation et/ou d'expérience requises.
