This role serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions. The Application Systems Analyst II performs system analysis, application configuration, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and production support while contributing to application enhancements and process improvements.Primary Responsibilities:Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Analyze, support, and maintain enterprise business applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned applications and business units.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, system errors, and performance problems.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Provide Tier II application support to end users.
- Coordinate with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor application health, availability, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Configure and maintain enterprise applications based on business requirements.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Participate in software implementation and system integration projects.
Required Qualifications- Experience supporting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or custom applications.
- Experience troubleshooting application and system issues.
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Desired Qualifications- Experience supporting Federal Government or public sector IT environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,500 - $104,000.
