Job Summary:

Health Choice Network is seeking an Epic Willow Analyst to support the design, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Willow Ambulatory applications and related pharmacy technologies. This role partners with pharmacy operations, clinical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant, and innovative pharmacy solutions that support outpatient, retail, specialty pharmacy, and 340B program operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong Epic Willow Ambulatory expertise, system optimization experience, and a commitment to improving patient care through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Willow Ambulatory applications and pharmacy workflows.
  • Design and support ERX records, medication dispensing workflows, charging structures, compounding configurations, and medication management rules.
  • Analyze outpatient, retail, and specialty pharmacy operations and translate clinical and business requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, e-prescribing errors, and application-related user issues.
  • Support and maintain integrations with point-of-sale systems, automated dispensing solutions, and third-party pharmacy technologies.
  • Perform unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing for maintenance releases, application enhancements, database content updates (FDB/NDC), and major Epic upgrades.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, revenue cycle teams, IT staff, and vendors to ensure system functionality aligns with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, workflow diagrams, system specifications, and training materials.
  • Participate in project planning, implementation activities, and system optimization initiatives.
  • Provide end-user support and training to ensure successful adoption of new workflows and system enhancements.
  • Support organizational priorities and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Current Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Clinical Informatics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Epic Willow Ambulatory applications within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of outpatient, retail, and specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining ERX, medication dispensing, compounding, and charging workflows.
  • Experience troubleshooting pharmacy application issues, interfaces, and integration workflows.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy system testing methodologies, upgrades, and application lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) or multi-site healthcare organizations.
  • Experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program, including compliance, audit readiness, and operational support.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy revenue cycle processes and charge capture workflows.
  • Experience supporting specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy automation, dispensing technologies, and point-of-sale system integrations.
  • Experience participating in Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Additional Epic certifications related to pharmacy, clinical, or interoperability applications.
