Job Summary

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable APIs for internal applications, customer-facing solutions, and external platforms.
  • Build and manage API integrations using Azure API Management, including authentication, routing, monitoring, versioning, and governance.
  • Develop Azure Logic Apps and related automation tools to streamline application and business workflows.
  • Implement reliable asynchronous integrations and event-driven processes using Azure Service Bus.
  • Integrate business applications with third-party systems, vendor management platforms, and enterprise services.
  • Support the deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of an inherited business application.
  • Partner with infrastructure and technology operations teams to define deployment requirements and resolve technical dependencies.
  • Monitor API and application performance, identify root causes of technical issues, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering APIs, workflows, system dependencies, deployment processes, and support procedures.
  • Apply Azure development, security, testing, and DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of hands-on development experience within Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Active Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification (AZ-204).
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs using Azure API Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and workflow or process automation.
  • Experience implementing messaging, event-driven integrations, or asynchronous processing with Azure Service Bus.
  • Proven ability to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing or inherited enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, authentication, identity management, monitoring, error handling, and API integration best practices.
  • Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
