Description
Performs a wide variety of regular and recurring moderately complex financial analysis, and related fiscal functions requiring full professional competency. Prepare and review vendor pharmacy reimbursement reports to identify variances and assist in pharmacy financial reporting for internal and external use. Prepares and reviews various reports to calculate threshold regulatory requirements for 340B program.
Work is performed under general supervision following established policies and procedures. Non-routine problems/issues are referred to a higher level.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems
• Ability to analyze information, reach valid conclusions and make sound recommendation
• Ability to apply judgment and informed decisions
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple form to non-finance users to understand the appropriate use and limits of the information provided
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats including summarizing data, presenting results
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to manage, organize, prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work effectively both as a team player and leader
• Knowledge of analytical research procedures and methods
• Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirement related to the functional area
• Knowledge of principles and practices of budgeting and finance including the analysis and reporting of financial data

Previous experience with medicare cost reporting or similar functions
Revenue cycle management
Pharmacy finance support
Payor/PBM contracting
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Redwood City, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.01/hr.
