Amazon PPC Specialist

Remote | Full-Time

We’re working with a growing Amazon and e-commerce consultancy that partners with ambitious consumer brands to improve their marketplace performance and commercial growth.

As the business continues to expand, they’re looking for an experienced Amazon PPC Specialist to join their performance team.

This is a hands-on position with genuine ownership. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of Amazon advertising accounts, while using performance data to identify opportunities, solve problems and support the wider commercial strategy for each client.

The Role

Amazon Advertising & PPC

You’ll take ownership of Amazon advertising activity across a portfolio of client accounts, including:

  • Planning, launching and managing campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, with exposure to Amazon DSP where relevant.

  • Managing bids, budgets, targeting and campaign structures to continually improve account performance.

  • Conducting keyword research, search-term analysis and audience/targeting expansion to identify new opportunities.

  • Identifying successful campaigns and products that can be scaled, while taking action quickly where performance is falling behind.

  • Working towards agreed performance targets across metrics including ACOS, ROAS, CVR and CTR.

  • Continually reviewing campaign structures and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.

These responsibilities reflect the core advertising-management requirements in the original specification.

Performance Analysis & Commercial Insight

This role goes beyond making routine PPC adjustments. You’ll be expected to understand what is happening within an account and why.

You will:

  • Analyse advertising and account data to identify performance trends, risks and growth opportunities.

  • Use advertising insights to make stronger optimisation decisions.

  • Keep advertising activity aligned with the wider commercial objectives of each client.

  • Identify opportunities or issues that may have an impact beyond advertising and communicate these to the wider account team.

  • Work towards the account objectives and KPIs agreed with senior team members.

Reporting & Client Interaction

Although this isn't primarily an account-management position, you will have visibility with clients and need to communicate performance confidently.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting regular client performance calls where required.

  • Preparing monthly performance reporting covering areas such as month-on-month performance, year-to-date results and progress against targets.

  • Turning data into clear insights and recommendations rather than simply reporting numbers.

  • Contributing advertising analysis and commentary to wider business and performance reviews.

  • Proactively highlighting concerns, opportunities or performance risks to the wider team.

Collaboration & Account Development

You’ll work closely with senior colleagues across advertising, strategy and account management.

You will:

  • Translate wider account strategies into specific advertising actions.

  • Contribute to account reviews, audits and performance discussions.

  • Share successful approaches, learnings and best practice with other members of the performance team.

  • Maintain accurate account documentation, reporting and optimisation records.

  • Work within established advertising processes while identifying opportunities to improve how things are done.

Technology, AI & Automation

The business is keen to continually improve how advertising accounts are managed.

You'll be encouraged to:

  • Use automation, AI and advertising technology to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Explore new Amazon advertising capabilities and platform developments.

  • Test new approaches and share successful learnings with the wider team.

  • Challenge inefficient processes and suggest practical improvements.

About You

We're looking for someone who already has strong practical Amazon advertising experience and can take meaningful ownership of account performance.

You should have:

  • Proven hands-on experience managing Amazon advertising campaigns across Seller and/or Vendor accounts.

  • Strong working knowledge of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display.

  • Experience managing significant advertising budgets, ideally into five and six figures.

  • A strong understanding of ACOS, ROAS, CVR, CTR and the wider commercial impact of advertising decisions.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate the reasons behind changes in performance.

  • Experience using advertising-management or marketplace tools such as Pacvue, Adbrew, Helium 10 or comparable platforms.

  • The ability to communicate performance confidently and clearly to both colleagues and clients.

  • A proactive, self-directed approach — you're comfortable taking responsibility for your accounts without needing constant direction.

  • Genuine interest in Amazon advertising, automation, AI and emerging marketplace developments.

  • Amazon DSP experience would be beneficial but isn't essential.

What They're Looking For Personally

You'll suit this environment if you're someone who takes genuine ownership of performance rather than simply completing a list of optimisation tasks.

They're particularly interested in people who:

  • Care about the quality and commercial impact of their work.

  • Spot problems and raise them rather than waiting for somebody else to notice.

  • Are naturally curious and willing to test, learn and improve.

  • Want to understand the wider client's business rather than viewing advertising in isolation.

  • Measure success by results and outcomes, not simply activity.

  • Share knowledge and contribute to improving the performance of the wider team.
