Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to lead our Amazon business. This role encompasses full ownership of our Amazon marketplace operations, including strategy development, assortment planning, compliance, content optimization, marketing initiatives, and P&L management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth on Amazon and managing cross-functional teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive revenue growth and market share on Amazon.
  • Assortment & Compliance: Oversee product assortment planning (portfolio, unit economics, pricing), ensuring alignment with market demand, Sunday strategy and compliance with Amazon policies.
  • Content Management: Lead the optimization of product content, including titles, descriptions, images, and enhanced brand content to improve conversion rates.
  • Marketing Oversight: Responsible for budget, and lead agency strategy for advertising campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales. Influence internal marketing  team on other marketing strategies (DSP, Influencer)
  • P&L Management: Own the Amazon P&L, setting financial targets, monitoring performance, and implementing optimization actions as needed.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Responsible for revenue and demand forecasting, aligned with assortment, marketing. content and pricing strategies
  • Agency & Partner Management: Collaborate with external agencies and partners to execute media investments and content strategies effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as supply chain, finance, brand, growth, reviews and customer service to ensure seamless operations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, generate insights, make decisions and report on key KPIs to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience managing Amazon marketplace operations, with a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in P&L management and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and advertising platforms.
