About the Role

Spines is looking for a creative and technically skilled AI Video Trailer Creator / Multimedia Content Specialist to produce engaging promotional video content for authors and their books.

The primary responsibility of this role is creating high-quality AI-assisted book trailers and promotional videos, combining storytelling, AI-generated visuals, video editing, motion graphics, music, voiceover, and strong marketing concepts.

Experience with digital marketing campaigns, paid advertising creatives, social media content, or podcast production/recording is highly valuable, as the role may also support broader marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create professional book trailers and promotional videos using AI-generation and traditional video-editing tools.
• Turn book descriptions, manuscripts, themes, and marketing briefs into compelling visual concepts and storyboards.
• Generate and edit AI video, images, voiceovers, music, animation, and visual effects.
• Edit trailers into polished final videos suitable for YouTube, social media, advertising campaigns, author websites, and other marketing channels.
• Adapt video content into different formats and lengths for Meta, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
• Develop strong hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, and calls to action that support marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, account management, and creative teams to ensure content aligns with each author's positioning and campaign strategy.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting production deadlines.
• Review feedback and efficiently implement revisions.
• Maintain consistent quality standards across all video deliverables.

Additional Marketing Responsibilities Depending on experience, the role may also include:

• Creating video creatives for Meta, YouTube, Google, and other advertising campaigns.
• Developing short-form promotional content and social media assets.
• Supporting campaign creative strategy and testing different hooks, formats, and messaging.
• Repurposing existing marketing material into video content.
• Reviewing campaign performance with the marketing team and improving creatives based on results.

Podcast Experience – Advantage, Experience with podcast production is considered a strong advantage. Responsibilities may include:

• Recording or coordinating podcast interviews with authors.
• Editing video and audio podcast recordings.
• Improving audio quality, pacing, transitions, and visual presentation.
• Creating podcast intros, outros, graphics, captions, and promotional clips.
• Turning long-form podcast recordings into short-form social media content.

Requirements

• Strong video-editing and visual storytelling skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI video and image-generation tools.
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Runway, Kling, Veo, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of composition, pacing, typography, sound design, and storytelling.
• Ability to turn written material into visually engaging concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience creating trailers, commercials, branded content, or entertainment-related video.
• Experience producing creatives for paid marketing campaigns.
• Understanding of Meta, YouTube, TikTok, or other performance-marketing platforms.
• Experience recording or editing podcasts.
• Experience creating short-form social media content.
• Familiarity with publishing, books, entertainment, or author marketing
