Purpose

This role partners with Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) business units to implement AI-enabled solutions developed through the discovery and intake process. As the technical bridge between the FAS AI Team and the business units it serves, this role translates approved use cases into working solutions, ensures implementations are sustainable and well-documented, and coordinates with the ET AI Studio when business needs require more advanced technical capabilities or infrastructure support. This position requires strong technical and analytical skills, the ability to work across both business and technical audiences, and a practical approach to moving from concept to deployed solution.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Implementation and Deployment. Partner directly with FAS business units to implement approved AI use cases, working hands-on through prototyping, testing, and rollout. Translate approved requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans, ensuring solutions align with FAS governance standards and platform capabilities, and are designed to be platform-agnostic whenever practical.
  • AI Tool Proficiency and Business User Support. Maintain hands-on proficiency in enterprise AI tools including Claude Edu, ChatGPT Edu, and Microsoft Copilot, and support business users in their effective use within implemented solutions.
  • Solution Sustainment and Knowledge Transfer. Define and document solution ownership, support approach, measurement plan, and review cycle for each implemented solution. Convert successful pilots into reusable templates, workflows, and documentation that can be applied across FAS units.
  • ET AI Studio Liaison and Infrastructure Coordination. Serve as the primary liaison between the FAS AI Team and the ET AI Studio, engaging the appropriate team when business needs require more complex technical solutions. Identify, document, and escalate platform limitations or infrastructure gaps that prevent business needs from being addressed, contributing to the ongoing development of FAS’s AI capabilities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration. Participate in the FAS AI & Technology Community of Practice to stay aligned with broader FAS technology initiatives and share team learnings across functional areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Work experience in managing automation projects and in business analyst role.
  • Demonstrated experience building, configuring, or deploying AI-assisted solutions in a professional environment, including hands-on use of tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot beyond basic productivity use.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical specifications or implemented solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes, identify root causes, and design systematic solutions with experience applying structured problem-solving frameworks or methodologies.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in technical business analysis, systems implementation, or a related role.
  • Experience working in higher education or public sector environments.
  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms, APIs, or automation tools.
  • Experience with solution documentation, knowledge transfer, or building reusable workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, or compliance requirements.
  • Experience with change management or technology adoption initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
  • Relevant certification in business analysis (such as CBAP or PMI-PBA), project management, or a related discipline.
