ABOUT THE ROLE

UA Brands is seeking an innovative AI Search Strategist to help improve how our brands, products, and content appear across AI-powered search and discovery platforms including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and other emerging AI search tools. 

This role combines technical SEO, AI search optimization, structured data strategy, semantic search, and content discoverability to help ensure AI systems can accurately understand, retrieve, and recommend our products and digital content.

The ideal candidate has experience in SEO, technical SEO, AI search optimization, semantic content strategy, schema markup, and e-commerce search visibility. This person will work cross-functionally with marketing, development, content, merchandising, and analytics teams to improve AI-readiness and organic discoverability across our digital ecosystem.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of AI-driven commerce and conversational search.

This position requires one to work in the permanent shift between 6:00 PM and 3:00 AM IST, Monday through Friday.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

AI Search Optimization & AI Discoverability

• Develop and execute strategies to improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms and generative AI search experiences
• Optimize website content and structure for AI-readability, semantic search, and conversational search queries
• Improve AI discoverability through internal linking, topical authority, and entity optimization
• Monitor AI search trends, LLM search behavior, and emerging AI retrieval technologies
• Help increase brand citations and product visibility in AI-generated answers and AI search results

Technical SEO & Structured Data

• Lead structured data and schema markup initiatives across product pages, category pages, FAQs, editorial content, and organizational pages
• Maintain and optimize JSON-LD schema implementations to improve machine readability and AI comprehension
• Conduct technical SEO audits focused on crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and AI accessibility
• Partner with developers to implement technical SEO enhancements and AI-readiness improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve semantic page structure and AI retrieval performance

Content Strategy & Semantic Search

• Partner with content teams to build AI-optimized and search-friendly content strategies
• Support conversational search optimization and FAQ content development
• Improve content organization and semantic relevance to support AI-powered search experiences
• Help develop scalable content frameworks that improve organic search and AI-generated visibility

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor AI referral traffic, AI search visibility, and organic search performance metrics
• Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track AI discoverability and AI citation performance
• Conduct competitive analysis across SEO, AI search, and digital discovery channels
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for marketing and development teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with development, marketing, merchandising, analytics, and content teams
• Communicate AI search opportunities and technical recommendations clearly to stakeholders
• Support QA testing and implementation of SEO and AI-search-related initiatives

 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in:

• Ahrefs

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with e-commerce SEO and product discoverability
• Understanding of entity optimization, knowledge graphs, and AI-readable content structures
• Experience optimizing content for conversational search and AI-generated answers
• Familiarity with semantic search optimization and AI search behavior
• SEO, analytics, or AI-related certifications preferred
