The AI Implementation Specialist will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered workflows and automation solutions for both internal operations and client environments. Working closely with leadership, this role will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions by implementing AI tools, systems integrations, and workflow automations that improve operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building automation solutions from the ground up, and staying at the forefront of emerging AI technologies.
Fully Remote | Anywhere between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET | Part-time | 20 hours a week.
Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows for internal operations and client projects.
Develop automations using AI tools, APIs, and workflow automation platforms.
Configure scalable automation ecosystems that connect multiple software platforms.
Optimize existing workflows to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously improve deployed solutions.
Build integrations between CRMs, project management systems, communication platforms, databases, and AI services.
Configure API connections, webhooks, and custom integrations when native connectors are unavailable.
Implement secure automation architectures following best practices.
Evaluate and recommend AI and automation tools based on client requirements.
Analyze client business processes and identify automation opportunities.
Participate in technical client meetings to gather requirements and explain proposed solutions.
Translate business challenges into practical AI implementations.
Recommend innovative automation strategies that align with client objectives and budgets.
Stay current with advancements in AI, LLMs, automation platforms, and emerging technologies.
Research and evaluate new AI tools and implementation methodologies.
Prototype new automation capabilities before production deployment.
Recommend new services and technical improvements that enhance company offerings.
Document workflows, automation architectures, and implementation procedures.
Develop reusable templates and standardized implementation frameworks.
Create internal best practices for AI deployments and client onboarding.
Maintain technical documentation that supports long-term scalability.
2+ years of experience building automations, systems integrations, or AI-enabled solutions.
Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and workflow automation platforms.
Experience implementing AI solutions beyond prompt engineering.
Experience integrating multiple SaaS applications into automated workflows.
Client-facing technical consulting experience is a plus.
Strong experience building AI-powered workflows using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, Claude, OpenAI, MCP frameworks, or similar technologies.
Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and integrating multiple SaaS platforms into automated workflows.
Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical AI implementation beyond prompt engineering.
Experience connecting CRM systems, cloud-based applications, databases, and business software through scalable automation solutions.
Ability to document technical workflows, system architecture, and implementation procedures clearly and accurately.
Knowledgeable in documentation platforms such as Notion, Obsidian, etc.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve automation issues.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple implementation projects while maintaining attention to detail.
AI-powered workflows are successfully implemented and improve operational efficiency.
Client automation projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Software platforms are integrated seamlessly through scalable automation solutions.
Technical documentation and reusable frameworks improve implementation consistency.
Leadership and clients rely on you as a trusted technical expert for AI and automation initiatives.
New AI technologies are continuously evaluated and incorporated to strengthen service offerings.
