What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI image and video generation tools;

• Solid understanding of character consistency and techniques for preserving character identity across generations;

• Experience with reference-based generation and image-to-image workflows;

• Understanding of animation principles, timing, posing, acting, composition, lighting, color, perspective, and basic anatomy;

• Ability to produce controlled and repeatable results rather than relying on random generations;

• Ability to identify and fix AI artifacts, including issues with faces, hands, anatomy, clothing, and composition;

• Confident skills in Photoshop or similar graphic editing software;

• Portfolio demonstrating AI-generated character work, ideally with the same character consistently reproduced across different scenes, poses, emotions, and animations.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ComfyUI and controllable AI workflows;

• Hands-on experience with LoRA / Character LoRA, ControlNet, reference conditioning, Stable Diffusion, and FLUX;

• Experience with modern image-to-video and video-to-video tools;

• Background working with game characters, cinematic/game marketing art, or production animation;

• Experience with stylized sci-fi, cyberpunk, or solarpunk visuals.

What the role is about:

• Creating visual and animated content based on existing approved character sheets / character cards;

• Maintaining strong character consistency across different generations while preserving the original face, proportions, clothing, and visual identity;

• Placing existing characters into different poses, camera angles, emotions, and gameplay situations;

• Creating short character animations and cinematic loops;

• Working with image-to-image and image-to-video generation;

• Animating facial expressions, body movement, clothing, hair, and individual character elements;

• Preserving the original character design without unintended changes between frames;

• Working within the project’s cyberpunk / solarpunk / stylized sci-fi visual direction;

• Refining generated content by fixing artifacts and improving faces, hands, costume details, anatomy, and composition;

• Producing several controlled variations of the same scene or animation;

• Iterating based on Art Director feedback and bringing assets to production-ready quality.
