Job Purpose and Impact

The Advisor, Remotely Operated Systems Data & Tech Lead job owns and is accountable for product vision, strategy, prioritization, and roadmap development for assigned products, capabilities and portfolios, ensuring alignment with user needs, business objectives, and enterprise technology strategy. In this role, you will provide thought leadership in the development and implementation of advanced digital technology and data products derived by drones, advance sensors, robotics and related solutions in service of user, company and customer objectives. This job partners closely with internal and external partners and plays a strategic role encouraging multiple teams to continuously improve processes and procedures. You will partner with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to make informed product decisions and drive execution. This role ensures products are integrated into broader Cargill business processes, data flows, and application ecosystems to maximize business value, interoperability, and user adoption.

Key Accountabilities

  • SUPPLIER & THIRD PARTY MANAGEMENT: Manages and coordinates with third-party suppliers to ensure products and services meet Cargill requirements and support development of tailored solutions unique to business and function needs, while remaining within budget and negotiating favorable contracts.
  • PARTNERS COMMUNICATION: Leads efforts to improve communications with business and functions partners across the company to uncover business needs and deliver existing solutions and capabilities.
  •  SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT: Develops and implements minimum viable product and product increments to deliver capabilities in alignment to the business value providing effective end user value and process improvement.
  • SCALABILITY & GLOBAL IMPLEMENTATION: Provides thought leadership on scalability and global implementation of product and process capabilities to product leaders across the regions and leads the coordinated operation improvement.
  • LEADERSHIP ADVISORY: Leads stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management efforts to drive adoption, transparency, and business value realization. Fosters product management communities of practice, promotes knowledge sharing and standard methodologies, and mentors product managers to strengthen product capabilities across the organization.
  • PROCESS DEVELOPMENT & SUSTAINABILITY: Builds and sustains processes of related products to ensure an effective, efficient and competitive plant organization and operations footprint that enable the short and long term performance objectives of the business.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL & SUSTAINABILITY CONTRIBUTIONS: Plays a key role in environmental contributions and sustainability goals of the organization while fostering the implementation and visibility of standard methodologies, processes and continuous improvement related to the product across the enterprise or group.

 

This position is open to a Remote work option within the United States. 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience as a Product Manager (or similar role) delivering large scale digital platform, Digital Twin, or geospatial solutions for commercial infrastructure or large real estate and asset portfolios.
  • Experience with photogrammetry and LiDAR software (e.g., Pix4D,PIX4DCloud, CloudCompare, NavVis Ivon, Flyability Inspector, TerraScan, LiDAR360, etc.) and GIS software (e.g., iHawk, ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Experience with advanced sensor data collection, processing workflows, visualization and data management for enabling asset owners, users and leadership
  • Working knowledge of data and information architecture, particularly geospatial, time series, and asset/linear network data, and supporting operational utilization
  • Experience operating within large, matrixed organizations with enterprise governance, security, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATONS

  • Three or more years owning product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for advanced digital data and technology-enabled products
  • Experience in digital business process analysis, data management and redesign, particularly across asset management, operations, and maintenance domains. Experience with related software (e.g., MISTRAS PMCS, Hexagon SDX, Enablon, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience managing products that integrate GIS with enterprise and operational systems such as EAMS, ERP, BIM, IoT platforms, and data warehouses/lakes
  • Strong understanding of modern digital architectures, including data platforms, cloud-based systems, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience developing strategy, plans and executing the implementation of industry 4.0 methodology for asset management, real estate or GIS systems to support digital   transformation
  • Ability to Support the processing and analyses of aerial imagery, LiDAR, and multispectral data for integration into GIS databases

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $134,000-$165,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
