The role involves supervising financial planners across multiple regions to ensure compliance with the Group Competency Scheme. You will also provide coaching, feedback, and support the delivery of training interventions to help planners progress.
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our Adviser Competency team as a Trainee Adviser Competence Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial planning who is looking to develop a career within Training & Competence (T&C).
Essential Requirements
- Level 4 Diploma qualified or close to completion.
- Experience within Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in coaching and developing others.
- Flexibility to travel when required
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of FCA Training & Competence requirements.
- Previous mentoring or coaching experience.
- J07, AF6 or H15 qualifications.
- Support supervision of Financial Planners across multiple regions.
- Ensure planners are supervised in line with the Group Competency Scheme.
- Participate in competency assessments, role plays and live observations.
- Provide feedback and coaching following observations and assessments.
- Support delivery of new entrant training and learning interventions.
- Work with Regional Managers and Principals to support progression to CAS and beyond.
- Analyse KPIs and identify development opportunities.
- Promote a client-centric culture and share best practice.
