Geo Advanced Role specialist for Türkiye: 

The Advanced Specialist, Geo Marketing will lead the development and execution of market-focused initiatives across the PTE and Institutional in Türkiye. The role serves as the local marketing lead, translating regional strategies into market-relevant actions that strengthen customer engagement, support business growth, and enhance channel performance.

This position requires strong commercial and marketing acumen, the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. This is a regional role that will work closely with sales, Channel Management and Global marketing teams Marketing to identify opportunities, develop account and market plans, and drive execution of initiatives.

The position does not have direct people management responsibility but is expected to provide leadership and coordination across multiple stakeholders and projects within the Turkish market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Türkiye across regional and local stakeholders.
  • Execute local brand and marketing initiatives that strengthen awareness and understanding of Pearson's value proposition.
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand guidelines across all customer-facing activities and materials.
  • Lead the localization and adaptation of global and regional marketing collateral for the Turkish market.
  • Coordinate market-facing communications, thought leadership opportunities, and customer engagement activities.
  • Support market presence through conferences, industry events, institutional forums, and partner activities.

     

  • Support sales and channel teams through the execution of market activation initiatives that generate customer engagement and business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute segment-specific marketing activities aligned to PTE and Institutional. 

     

  • Partner with sales teams to prioritize opportunities, support customer journeys, and strengthen conversion efforts.
  • Support and collaborate with strategic distributors to implement local marketing and customer engagement plans.

     

     

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, market development, customer marketing, channel marketing, or a similar commercial role.
  • Experience working with distributors, institutional customers, or channel partners.
  • Strong analytical and business planning capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence across functions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English.

     

     

Preferred

  • Experience leading market-level initiatives within an international organization.
  • Experience supporting account planning and business growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of the Turkish education, assessment, learning, or institutional landscape (if applicable).
  • Experience working in matrix organizations with regional and global stakeholders.
