The Marketing Manager will own and execute the B2B marketing strategy to elevate Dexerto's profile within the media, advertising, and entertainment industries. This involves developing thought leadership, managing industry awards, and collaborating with leadership to turn business insights into compelling external stories.
MARKETING MANAGER
About Dexerto
Dexerto is a leading digital media and entertainment company reaching more than 100 million fans every month across gaming, creators, entertainment, esports, technology and internet culture.
We’ve built an enormous consumer audience. Now we’re looking for someone to help ensure the business behind that audience has an equally strong profile within the media, advertising and entertainment industries.
We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to lead that effort.
The Role
This is a new role at Dexerto with a simple but ambitious objective: raise the profile of Dexerto within the industry and strengthen how we are perceived by clients, agencies, partners, peers and competitors.
We’re looking for someone who understands B2B marketing and knows how to make a business visible, relevant and talked about.
You’ll develop and deliver activity across Dexerto’s corporate channels, our founders’ and senior leaders’ profiles, industry thought leadership, awards, events and PR opportunities.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a fully developed marketing calendar to execute. We need someone who will create it.
You’ll need to be naturally proactive — spotting opportunities, generating ideas, identifying conversations Dexerto should be part of and working with our founders and wider team to turn those opportunities into activity.
You’ll work particularly closely with Dexerto’s founder board and our client-facing Integrated Marketing team, helping connect what we do commercially with how we present ourselves to the wider industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll already have experience in a B2B marketing, corporate marketing, communications, PR or brand role, ideally within digital media, advertising, technology, entertainment or a related industry.
More importantly, you’ll understand how businesses build a reputation within their industry.
You should have:
Most Importantly
We’re looking for a self-starter.
Because this is a new role, there won’t always be someone telling you what the next campaign, LinkedIn post, award submission or industry opportunity should be.
You should be the person identifying it.
You’ll be comfortable approaching a founder and saying, “This is a conversation we should be part of,” spotting an industry award we should enter, turning a successful client campaign into a story, or recognising that something happening within our industry gives Dexerto an opportunity to offer a perspective.
You’ll have the confidence to challenge us, bring new ideas to the table and build a B2B marketing programme that becomes increasingly ambitious as the role develops.
What We Offer
How to Apply
We’d love to see your CV along with examples of work that demonstrate how you’ve helped raise the profile of a business or its leadership.
That might include paid digital campaigns, executive thought leadership, PR activity, award submissions, B2B campaigns, industry content or other examples that show us how you think.
Dexerto is committed to building an inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds.
