JOB TITLE: Advanced Associate, Service Delivery Management
JOB PURPOSE:
This Advanced Associate, Service Delivery Management will be responsible for utilizing their strong payroll skills. This includes overseeing all administrative activities related to payroll, processing payroll on a regular basis and sometimes managing benefits, as well as pensions.
The role is also known as Payroll Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll for all school administrative staff using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Calculate and process payroll items related to employee onboarding and offboarding, including prorated pay and final paychecks.
- Import and validate payroll-related files into the UKG payroll system, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Assist in checking payroll input for data entry accuracy, including self and peer reviews and making necessary adjustments and corrections.
- Process Manual Checks.
- Process and report Teachers’ Pension contributions to the relevant state agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory guidelines.
- Conduct regular timekeeping audits to ensure accuracy of hours worked.
- Ensure that any requests related to Payroll via IssueAware or email will be addressed in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, Benefits) to gather updates impacting payroll and ensure accurate processing of payments and deductions.
- Maintaining employee payroll files and responsible for archiving payroll files to ensure compliance in audit requirements
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to finance and management teams as needed.
- Ensure that all employee personal data is managed within legal guidelines, diplomacy, confidentiality and with discretion.
- Ensure high customer service standards in all elements of the work.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Payroll Office performing payroll functions
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll system
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
- Good problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer
