Adjunct Instructor - Accounting

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach Online LIVE Accounting courses beginning in the fall, 2026 term.

Fall Courses:

ACC 350 Federal Taxation of Individuals - 3 semester credits

ACC 473 Advanced Financial Reporting - 3 semester credit

Location and Modality

Classes are Online LIVE and require a weekly live class from 6:00-9:15 p.m. as well as online, asynchronous work.

12-Week Term Dates: August 24 - November 19

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or closely related field and relevant professional experience. Some teaching experience is preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Teach undergraduate courses in accounting.
• Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
• Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
• Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
• Use university technology as directed.
